Feature : Blair's Honda Accord

Supercharged beast

Recently completed after a 2 year build this monster of a saloon packs a dyno proven 447bhp! The Accord was originally chosen by Blair as a base for a tuning project/track car as its not a car you see driven hard on track days or shown about in mags, but the end result is nothing short of awesome.


The car has been fitted with a Rotrex C30-94 supercharger and fully forged internals to handle the new found power by CJPOWER TUNING. which Blair says is nothing short of a major miracle due to the lack of information available from around the world. 



To help handle all the power the car has been fitted with BC Racing coilovers and a whole host of braces from the likes of Ultra Racing, Cusco, Progress tech and Neuspeed, and to bring the accord to a halt K-Sport 8 pot brakes have been fitted up front Rotora grooved discs for the rear, all wrapped up with the sweet Volk Ce28n's with a pairing of Advan A048's up front and Toyo R888's at the rear. 



To keep an eye on what's happening under that VIS carbon hood a Haltech Racepak dash has been installed in the custom dash along with a pair of auto gauges for boost and water temperature.



The only other addition to the interior is the pair of beautiful Recaro Sportster CS as the interior is a nice leathery place to be



Moving back to that K24 engine the air is sucked in through a fujita cold air intake before heading through the large front mount intercooler and into the rotrex blower and then mixed  with the fuel provided by the large 750cc injectors and the Walbro pump.



The resulting 447 horses are helped to the ground by the combo of Exedy single plate clutch, lightweight flywheel and a Quaife LSD.



The waste gases are dealt with through a Hytech header and Skunk 2 stainless steel twin exhaust which help enahance that V-tech growl.



On the styling front not too much has been added other than the Mugen rear wing, Mugen custom fit type rr rear diffuser, with a custom front lip and air ducts added, also the roof has been vinyl wrapped black to contrast the factory red paint and compliment the carbon VIS hood. Which results in a eye catching look which holds your attention by being just aggressive enough without being over the top.



The end result is im sure as you'll agree nothing short of stunning and Blair claim's it to be one of the most exciting rides he's ever driven
